การปรับแต่งระบบเน็ตเวิร์คบน Windows เพื่อให้ทำงานเร็วขึ้นและปลอดภัยขึ้น

สำหรับผู้ที่นำคอมพิวเตอร์ตั้งแต่ 2 เครื่องขึ้นไปมาเชื่อมต่อกันเป็นระบบ LAN หรือ จะมีการตั้ง Server และมีเครื่องลูกต่อเชื่อมกันอีกหลายเครื่อง และใช้ Windows เป็นระบบปฏิบัติการในการเชื่อมต่อการทำงานเข้าด้วยกัน ไม่ว่าจะใช้ Windows XP , 7 , 8 , Windows Server รุ่นต่างๆ ก็ตาม ท่านทราบหรือไม่ว่า เมื่อมีการกำหนดการต่อเชื่อมไว้แล้ว เมื่อทำการเปิดเครื่อง Windows ที่เป็นเครื่องลูก จะวิ่งหาโฟลเดอร์ที่เครื่องลูกอื่นๆ ได้มีการแชร์เอาไว้ รวมไปถึงอุปกรณ์ต่อพ่วงที่แชร์ไว้ทั้งหมดบนระบบ LAN ซึ่งเข้าใจว่าการกำหนดค่าไว้ลักษณะนี้จะช่วยให้การเชื่อมต่อบน LAN ทำงานได้ง่าย แต่ตัวระบบเองจะต้องเสียเวลาในการวิ่งหาโฟลเดอร์ที่มีการแชร์เอาไว้ตลอดเวลา ซึ่งเราสามารถตัดการทำงานส่วนนี้ออกไปได้ดังนี้

1. ไปที่ Control Panel เรียก Network and Sharring Center

2. คลิกไปที่ Change advance sharing settings



3. คลิกที่ปุ่มตามรูป



4. จากนั้นปิดการทำงานโดยเลือก Turn off network discovery แล้วคลิกที่ Save changes เพื่อบันทึกค่า



ถ้าบนระบบ LAN ของท่านมีเครื่องหลายเครื่อง และ ทุกเครื่องปิดดการทำงานส่วนนี้ทั้งหมด จะสังเกตได้เลยว่าการเรียกงานบนระบบ LAN จะเร็วขึ้นกว่าเดิมมาก
